Preparing the follow up on Danish Blockbuster Series "Borgen" 12 years after Season 1-3, got the Set Designer solving challenges, by adding new technology.

Dark and Cold Greenland, a long flight from Denmark, was a costly challenge, if not some Greenland locations was shoot locally in Copenhagen.
By adding set-extension VP setup, some Greenland was shoot on FilmGEAR.dk Studios in Copenhagen, still getting the important Greenland feeling.
Conceptualizing three positions; A Hotel Room, A Driving Plate position with option for Boat shooting and a House with an outdoor Porch to be supported by a Virtual Production Set-Extension, meant quite a LED wall as background, for a longer period.
Thinking a bit out of the Box, we ended up as a smaller, but mobile LED screen unit, hanging in the ceiling to cover all three positions. Reducing costs and giving the needed flexibility.
Shooting feature film today, is more than makeup and celluloid. Fabian Wullenweber here premiering a full blown Cinematic Thriller “Maja’s løfte” (Maja's Promise) shoot on a tight budget under the dogma of ‘safe distance’ end Covid.
Since the earliest days of cinematography tricks and fakes has been part of enabling the impossible. FilmGEAR Rental ApS supported the project with 180degree Pop-Up Virtual Production LED Volume, Studio facilities, lighting and grip enabling the many ‘driving sequences’ to be shot in full control.

Shoot: FilmGEAR Set-Up Studio 1 2022
FilmGExR Virtual Production Studio was called in to assist the Danish National Broadcaster DR, when producing the 7th and last episode of the true story tv-drama 'Carmen Curlers'.
The task was to make a Pan Europe Train Ride look as real as if we rewind time to the 70ties and drove through German, Austrian and Italian fields and mountains.
We supported the production with VP Supervision, Custom LED Volume in DR Studio Facilities, Playback and NCAM Tracking.
For the Danish National Broadcaster TV2, Cosmo Film produced this 24 part Christmas Advent Calender 'Valdes Jul'

For the Danish Crime Series 'OXEN' produced by SF Film for Danish National Broadcaster TV2, FilmGExR Virtual Production Studio had the pleasure supporting both the Driving Plates sequences and a VP sequence 'MALI' suposed to be produced in Spain resembling the Desert of Mali.

Now and then you enter a project with your eyes and ears open and still ends up amazed and surpriced. The Rebel Pictures project 'CUT' is one of them.
Our Studio, LED Volume, Tracking, Render Engines etc. etc. all combined with the finest of the finest of Photograpers, Grips and Gaffers ending up shooting a 8 + 16 + 35 and 65mm film test to do a lot of comparison to digital cameras.

Not all client job are to be shared day one after production, therefor we have made a few technical trailer tests of our own - to see and show what we do. All made in a day or two without the big crew.

The idea of shooting a tv-series in Greenland was challingeing , It was solved with a clever use of one mobile screen covering two sets and nicely also worked as reflex screen shooting both car- and boatscenes all in the same studio
Building a full desert environment, adding Land Rover and a four man SWAT team, was completed with a UNREAL 3d Tracked Desert view. We got home with the needed production value, without travelling round the world
